I love big books and I can not lie, so when I got wind that companies would send me books for free in return for my honest review I jumped on board VERY quickly.  I am two things by nature: a cheerleader and a coach/teacher, which are also the two things you need to be when reviewing a book. Cheerleader : When you are reading a book regardless of your end feelings about the book, there will be somethings that you like. Share specific details ( quotes, pages, chapters) of those things that you found interesting, informative or just plain made you laugh out loud. If you have a photo you took or were given by the author share it on the blog and on social media.  Coach:  Though the author of the book you review may never read your review, and we are not here to rip apart authors. We are here to be honest. If there is something in the reading that did not set well with you, share it. If there is something you see that doesn't align with your beliefs or is false, share ...

My husband had found out in the Fall of 2015 that there would be a transition at our current church that required us to no longer have a pay check and I had transitioned out of my current position to be a full time employment search secretary. (IN)courage (EN)courage (COURAGE) I have been thinking about these words. (IN) COURAGE  was the name of a cute little paper/gift boutique around the corner from the Starbucks I frequented during college. I might have been a bit obsessed with it due to the amount of pink, glitter, and stationary that they carried but lets not get off topic :) Encourage is defined by my buddy Marriam-Webster as:      -To make (someone) more determined, hopeful, or confident.      -To make (something) more appealing or more likely to happen.      -To make (someone) more likely to do something: to tell or advise        (someone) to do  something but being the dictionary connoisseur that I am it really brought me the idea of courage which Merriam simply says: the ability to do something you know is difficult or dangerous. Tried out Maybellines SuperStay Better Skin Foundation for the past month. These are my thoughts and not those of the company. I found that the foundation was thin which was really nice. The smooth feel left me feeling clean. I did suffer from lower chin break out but I dont know if I can fully attribute it to the Foundation. I would for sure recommend this foundation to someone who likes a foundation that goes on liquid and dries like powder. Very good coverage!!

So I was reflecting on the time I have spent Blogging #flackbackfriday to May 2011. A month or so in I came into a place where I was trying to set goals and see where I was going to go in life. Below you will find the list I complied. be a bridesmaid in a wedding  run a half marathon  own my own car  adopt a child  write a book  NYC  Travel to England to see/meet my family  Snow Ski  Own Cowgirl Boots  Buy something at Lululemon  do a mini- Triathalon  Be on a council/ run for an office  be a fiesta/event royalty So I have only crossed one item off the list, and that is a-okay. We are in process for foster with hopes to foster to adopt. One day I still hope to travel to England and NYC- and now I live a lot closer to both.The discussion on my progress of each one could go on and on but honestly some would be excuses and nobody has time for that. +++ I am reviewing this book as a part of the Tyndale Blog Network and received the book in request of an honest review with no compensation+++ I have been swamped and know I have not found myself as "The Set Apart Woman". The book is a wonderful reminder that we need to slow down and let God. It made me think of the church of Laodicea and how we tend to be on fire for things and lean towards lukewarm in our spiritual state. Us God women need to stick together in accountability in love which I feel this book does VERY well. Between this book and Secret Church 15: I have been on a super re-evaluation kick.
