Bible Stories that End with a Hug review

***** Tyndale House Publishers has provided you with a complimentary copy of this book for reviewing purposes*****

I chose to review this book due to the fact that I have been teaching childrens church during adult church service on Sunday morning. This book was able to help my guide my ideas to journey though the bible. Many kids listen and hear the bible story only in the way that their Sunday School teachers curriculum teaches and sometimes get stuck in hearing only one way- when I am able to show how each story is a HUGE hug from God, kiddos are able to open their eyes to God being present in the pain as well.

The one thing that I would critique is that it lacks in detail. Each story is only a two page spread and is normally only a paragraph in length. If they were to rework it I would recommend that they extend the stories or even maybe make an advanced version for a little older with more depth.
